Apostille from Nevada

In the U.S. state of Nevada, Apostilles are issued in accordance with the Hague Apostille Convention of 1961 by the Nevada Secretary of State. The Secretary of State’s Notary Division, located in Carson City, is the sole Competent Authority authorized to affix Apostilles on Nevada public documents. These include certified copies of birth, marriage, and death certificates (after state or county certification), notarized documents, court judgments, educational records, and other official papers originating in Nevada. By issuing the Apostille, the Secretary of State certifies the authenticity of the signature, seal, or stamp, ensuring that Nevada-issued documents are recognized in all Hague Convention member states.
